For a good couple months now I have had an irritating squeaking going on from under my WRX that I have been too lazy to pinpoint and fix. Not only that but I had this weird hesitation around 2500-3000 RPM in 1st-3rd gear. Not any more! All thanks to this little exhaust bracket that hangs off of the transmission that never did line up with the aftermarket exhaust anyway. I had it nestled on there and zip tied in an attempt to have it not rattling around and smacking in to the trans crossmember. I was going to put some duct tape on there so it wasn’t metal on metal but decided, “Fuck it” and removed the damn thing. NO MORE RATTLES! NO MORE HESITATION! I love it when something so easy solves so much. Also, something something weight savings (less than a pound)
Rally Alfa for visual stimulation.
